Commissioned by Angst Basel, this piece was premiered on September 18th 2026. Like Karlheinz Stockhausen‘s Cosmic Pulses, Hyper Acc both explore timelessness through cyclical structure and inner synchronised pulses. Where Stockhausen generates a cosmic stillness, this work destabilises the very ground beneath the listener’s ear. Perception itself becomes unreliable. We sense depth and motion where none truly exists, mirroring the infinite labyrinth of consciousness encountering itself.
Hyper Acc transcends its own nature, a sound that proves the listener’s mind is the only truly synthetic element in the room.
